Set sail with your celebration

You have the freedom to plan your party aboard one of the Hjejle boats, and you’re encouraged to leverage our extensive experience. You can do that by calling us at +45 86 82 07 66. You can also take your time to look at the different boats and their layouts to find the one that best suits your event.

You will have a boat captain and a service mate included in the agreement when you rent a boat. In other words, you set the course and determine the pace, with expert guidance from our skilled and knowledgeable crew. You are welcome to handle the planning yourself. If you prefer to leave the practical details to us, we are happy to assist you in putting together the perfect menu – both for food, wine, and especially entertainment. We have many good partners.

Weddings

Can you imagine anything more romantic than going on a wedding cruise in the most beautiful surroundings? Add your best friends and family to the mix, and it doesn’t get any better.

The day can be arranged in many different ways. You could, for example, choose to have your wedding cake served with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee on board one of the boats after your ceremony. You can hold the entire grand celebration on board. You can also choose to enjoy the welcome drink while being sailed to your party if you’re hosting it at one of the restaurants along the lake. Make the day even more unforgettable – we’re more than happy to help you celebrate your love.

Birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations

While the boat glides slowly through the water in the most beautiful surroundings, you can enjoy a good dinner in the salon. Then watch the sun go down and kick off the party with music and dancing in the twilight. The intimate setting helps make the evening truly unforgettable – both for you and your guests.

It’s also possible to rent the boats during the day. It’s ideal if you and your guests want to be sailed to one of the moorings, where there’s a beautiful hiking trail, or if you prefer to cruise around while enjoying your welcome drinks, then disembark at one of the cozy restaurants along the lakes. On board the fleet’s largest boats, Hejren and Mågen, there are music systems that you can use during dinner. The facilities can also play music, but if you want the music to be very loud, it requires you to bring your own equipment, or ask us to get it for you.

Questions about boat rental

Do all the boats cost the same to rent?

Many of the boats have different sizes and layouts. Therefore, there is also a slight difference in price when you rent a boat. Please contact us for a discussion about your wishes.

Do we need to provide our own food and drinks?

We take great pride in helping you achieve your goals, so you only need to focus on inviting your guests.

However, you can bring your own food for your guests if you wish. Drinks are usually purchased through us – alternatively, corkage fees can be arranged.

We are happy to adapt the menu for allergies, etc.

Are there speakers/sound systems on board?

Some of the boats already have speakers, a microphone, and a sound system on board.

Alternatively, we have Bluetooth speakers that can be taken on your boat trip.

Is there WiFi on the boats?

All our boats have WiFi on board.

What about serving staff?

On all sailings, there is a service deckhand on board. They are very service-minded and enjoy seeing satisfied guests on their boat. However, they are not waiters as such. You always have the option to book additional staff for your boat trip to ensure the best possible experience for your guests.
